The roller coaster/train wreck that is True Blood will end tonight. Will the finale give an adequate ending to a show that should have ended seasons ago? We'll see.
Just for the record, I loved seasons 1 and 2. Seasons 3 and 4 were okay. Seasons 5, 6, and 7 were outright horrible but for some reason I kept watching. I was there from the beginning and I will be there for the end.

Police in Oklahoma are investigating claims that a real-life "Purge" will take place in Oklahoma on August 30. Flyers claiming that all crimes, including murder, will be legal from 7pm on August 31, to 7am on August 31, are being spread around. Authorities are now using an intelligence gathering network to help monitor the situation. In response to the police, the people behind this alleged purge claim that they will simply change the date to avoid the police. Police do not think there is a threat at this time but are monitoring the situation. The creators of the website, Snopes, claim that the whole thing is a hoax.

FYI: The bear is walking upright because it has an injured paw. It may even be missing a paw.
Are alleged Bigfoot and werewolf sightings really just bears walking upright? I mean, If I saw this thing walking between trees in the forest I might mistake it for a Bigfoot.
