Socordia

Socordia, a.k.a. Ignavia, is the Roman goddess of sloth or laziness. The Greek transliteration of Socordia would be Aergia.

Appearance: A large woman with disheveled clothing. In art she was pictured as holding various board games. For an image of Socordia, click HERE.

Lore: Socordia is the daughter of Aether and Gaia (upper air and earth). Socordia, is one of the guardians of the court of Hypnos (sleep).

Powers: Socordia is responsible for sloth and laziness in humans.

Defense against Socordia: Invoking the power of Socordia's "opposite", Hormes, the god of effort.
