The effected had to go through a decontamination treatment from a Hazmat team. There is no current explanation for the mystery rash. Although it is interesting that this occurs shortly after the discovery of a mysterious and smoking 55-gallon drum that was blown up by a Hazmat team as well as before the recent 'zombie' attacks.
