The Hoodoo Truth: 7 Sisters Oils

I like 7 Sisters oils, or to clarify I like some of them. I like 7 Sisters Bend Over, Commanding, and Cleo May oils. I like the way they smell. Now, like with the Anna Riva oils there is a lot of nonsense being spread online about 7 Sisters oils. First of all, yes, it's chemicals. It's not natural. However, people do enjoy using them and it's probably the most popular brand of spiritual oils. I'm not sure if people know this or not but right now in many Asian countries 7 Sisters oils are quite popular.

I personally believe if that's all you can afford and you don't want to use blessed olive oil, then go ahead and use 7 Sisters oil. You can achieve success in using them. Now, I would advice to put a pinch of a root or herb into the bottle and then pray over it before using it.

I have used 7 Sisters oils to great success in the past so I know they work. However, I do have some problems with them. Below are some of the things I do not like about 7 Sisters oils.

1.) There is only a hand full of scents that are used over and over again. These scents are based on color. All the dark green oils will smell the same. All the dark red oils will smell the same, etc.

2.) Far too much dye is used. So much dye is used that it will stain your clothing. I especially hate the dark red colored oils.

3.) The lighter colored oils have little to no smell. For example, 7 Sisters Compelling oil is light green in color and has absolutely no smell. For me, it's not worth buying if it has no scent or fragrance as there is power in the scent.

4.) The dark green oils smell really weird, like a cheap aftershave or shampoo. For example, 7 Sisters Money Drawing oil is perhaps one of their best sellers so one would think it would smell better than it does. Nope!

5.) If you use too much of 7 Sisters oil in your 7 day glass candles or vigil candles than it is a fire risk. The flame will leap up and the glass may crack. For this reason I only advise people to use a small amount of 7 Sisters oils on their 7 day glass candles.

So these are some of the things I do not like about 7 Sisters oil. However, I know that 7 Sisters oils are quite popular and many, many people prefer to buy and use these oils and they work for them.

I was just going to say you should do a blog on Seven Sisters oil.

I love the way the Bend Over oil smells.

A lot of people swear up and down that Seven Sisters works. I've used oils from big name online hoodoos that didn't do a thing for me. When I felt the bottle there was no spiritual JUICE in the oil.

It was just a pretty looking oil with strong scent but no power to make it work.

Then there are true conjure oils I've bought. Not only did they work but I had to stop using them because they gave too much power.

@ Dr. Lovebug,

I'm sure most people have no idea what a real conjure oil made by a old school worker is like. They would probably be shocked to discover they aren't colored and usually don't smell nice.

7 Sisters is very powerful and it can be found everywhere. I like the nostalgic aspect to it. I think that as long as you put in pinches of your own herbs into the bottles and pray over it then it's perfectly fine. However, it is chemicals and most people don't put any herbs into the bottle. Most people do swear they work and I guess it's more due to their power of faith than the actual chemicals in the bottle.

@DocCoonjure
You mention putting herbs into the bottles. Can you give and example of what herbs you use and how much?
This is my first time using 7 Sisters Oil.
Thanks
