The book is written by renown paranormal researcher, Brad Steiger. The book is written in encyclopedic form, meaning the readers can skip forward and backward as they wish. The good thing about the book is that a wide-variety of supernatural shape-shifting beings are explored. The bad thing about the book is that most of the beings listed are not werewolves. Additionally, Steiger throws in werewolf and other horror movies that seem out of place for a book dedicated to supposedly true supernatural beings. Some of the allegedly true tales involve anonymous sources, which is always a bad thing.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, I give it a 7.
