Operation Midnight Climax was a sub-project of Project MKULTRA. Midnight Climax employed the use of prostitutes who drugged their clients with hallucinogenic and other types of drugs without their knowledge or consent. The resulting sex act was filmed behind a two-way mirror.
The purpose of the project was to experiment on drugs that would promote the men to reveal secret or sensitive information, as well as to perfect sexual blackmail techniques.
